Dave Lambert Agricultural Scholarship
On April 18, 2016, our dear friend David Lambert passed away surrounded by his wife Josee and their four children at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto at the age of 55.
Dave had deep ties to the agricultural community. He was well known for his ongoing commitment to several projects and initiatives while still finding time to farm, enjoy life and provide support to others with cancer at Wellspring Niagara support group.
Dave was a longtime director with the Niagara Peninsula Fruit & Vegetable Growers’ Association, sat on the grower committee for both Grape Growers of Ontario and Ontario Fresh Grape Growers Marketing Board for many years, and was elected Chair of the Fresh Grape Growers in 2014 through to 2016.
Dave’s dedication to agriculture will live on through this annual scholarship in his name and will keep his memory close to our hearts.
